Dental Hygiene
A regular visit to the hygienist is an essential part of keeping your teeth and gums healthy, your smile bright and your breath fresh.
Fresh White Teeth
Our hygienist will give your teeth a professional clean, removing any plaque (bacteria that causes gum disease) and tartar. Your teeth are polished, so that they look and feel fresh and clean. You get advice on the best way to care for your teeth and gums, and answers to any questions you have.
EMS Airflow Hygiene Treatment
Give your smile a deeper, gentler clean with our new EMS Airflow® Guided Biofilm Therapy treatment — the modern alternative to a traditional scale and polish.
Using a combination of warm water, fine powder and air polishing technology, Airflow® removes plaque biofilm, surface stains and harmful bacteria comfortably and effectively, even in hard-to-reach areas. It is ideal for patients with sensitive teeth, implants, crowns, veneers, braces and gum disease management.

What is Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT)?
GBT is a modern hygiene protocol developed by EMS Dental that focuses on removing harmful dental biofilm in the most minimally invasive way possible.
Your hygienist first highlights areas of plaque using a harmless disclosing solution before gently removing the biofilm using EMS Airflow® technology. Any remaining hard deposits are then carefully removed with precision ultrasonic instruments.
